New Music Time
Here we go with a new release on Kölsch’s IPSO label with the mighty “Louisiana” track with Dubfire.
This is a hard and fast track and ready for the dancefloor. Fast drums and epic electric swooshes and alarm like properties and long drops. Banging and popping sounds. One of the top tracks of 2021 for that get on the dance floor and go hard or go home moments.
Digital download purchased and hoping for that vinyl release as well as always.
Other new music collaborations that are needing full intention is the new Pete Tong and Friends presents Ibiza classic 8 Track EP. With not one but two Kölsch collaboration tracks.
First up, is the epic track “Ghosts” by Pete Tong, Kolsch and Jules Buckley.
This amazing mix track has the epic samples from Thomas Newman track but also sampled in the quality release by Reflekt “Need to feel loved” and the later release “The End” by Hot Since 82 & Joe T Vannelli feat Csilla. From the album Little Black Book. Some Spotify links below. Too enjoy all versions of this amazing sampled track. Magical work done by the three of them.
Second is the track “When we move” including Elderbrook as well.
Another great track and an excellent collab of different but also close styles of music and makes for a stunning sounding track. One of my favourite tracks on the album.
There are also another six amazing tracks on the album and I am big fan, so have ordered a signed copy of the vinyl limited edition release. However, release date is or around 4th February 2022 but I am always willing to wait for quality. A true eclectic selection of music.
Also, worth a flashback share is “Grey” as well from the second album. Which was an amazing mix of this outstanding track and in fact I have replayed the whole album while writing this blog.
Radio Shows
How exciting is the news for over the next few weeks is the Kolsch radio show on Radio Brussels every Friday 20:00 to 21:00 GMT.
Week 1
What an excellent show and ultra-excited to hear the world exclusive of the remix of Now Here No Where” which I have to say I might even prefer over the album version with the extra little background sounds of beeps and highs and lows. Also, on the show we got to hear the track called “demo 23” which defo should get a release as it got some very distinct and different sounds love the sound towards the end reminds of some 16 bit sounds from some classic computer games and then moves into the tribe type drum sound. #differentandgood. There is also Woohman! Nothing more I can say but Number 1 track and also, we get a world premier drop of Kölsch & Dubfire “Louisiana” TUNE! – Remember OUT TODAY!

Week 2
I would have to say the highlight of the show for me tonight was a track chosen called “Clear and Present” and it is a monster of a track in which to me is one of those hypnotic songs, that if for example I am driving or working puts me in a total hypnotic zone listening to these tracks. It hard to explain but this one of them type of tracks / albums.
I have the vinyl album and it is amazing and I have for second time tonight put on another album to listen to while writing this blog.

Also, the story behind “All that matters” was brilliant and a wonderful inside into the track which is a “classic” and beautiful song and proud to have in my collection.
Also, I have to say the opening track is a monster track as well! Finally, yes, I will be “YouTubing” some “Dub Techno” to find some amazing tunes.

Starting off with the amazing track Isopolis from the same name as the digital album.
Some excellent tunes tonight including a very different “talking heads” remix of Physio Killer.

Some other type of music news - HAL1-HAL6 /// PURE EMOTION
There was some news over at foundation in which Tiga has taken the track HAL the second track released on Kolsch’s IPSO label; and created deconstructed song from the core of HAL. a collaboration between AI/generative artist Ivona Tau and Tiga and Kolsch. Called Pure Emotion
Highlighting that this Tiga’s “first step into this new space is a collaborative one.
HAL (produced by myself and @kolsch in December of 2017) has been reworked/stripped down to a new unreleased version codenamed PURE EMOTION, split into six parts, each of which was the basis for a new generative/photographic piece by @ivonatau
each piece is 1/1. audio will never be released. and each piece played in sequence: 1-6 makes up the original arrangement. 1 (_feeling) 2 (_lift) 3 (_energy) 4 (_release) 5 (_peak) and 6 (_dawn)
i fell in love with Ivonas work, and she knew my music (and liked it) so it was a great fit and a natural partnership.

Ivona Tau is a generative AI artist who works in the intersection of photography with new technologies and deep learning. Her goal is to find and evoke emotions in the artificially intelligent tools, this way making them more human.

So, as we end another year of madness with highs and lows and with light at the end of the tunnel to get back to normal. I have been listening to more and more music so capture that I have been creating a playlist for my personal favourite tracks of 2021 and I have shared the playlist here with you today. So, 2021 is nearly over and we had some amazing fun times and amazing music in still a mad world with some little wins here and there like a retweet from the main man on T-shirt Day on BBC 6Music.
