Hello, sorry for the delay in updates, with house moves, work and lock downs in taken me sometime to update the blog. However I am back with some updates in the world of Kölsch.

So, to start good news on the new music front we have had the excellent Kölsch remix of Franky Rizardo & Joe Goddards track “No Judgement” released.

Which started out a lockdown link up track on the excellent Danny Howard BBC Radio 1 Friday night show back in April 2020 and now remixed.

Shame I cannot purchase on vinyl though.

Also, I think there is some new music coming soon via a teaser on social media in terms of a track entitled. “Infinite Traveller” to be a dubplate of NFT.

“A dubplate is an acetate disc usually of 10 inches diameter, traditionally used by studios to test recordings prior to mastering for the subsequent pressing of a vinyl record”.

“A non-fungible token (NFT) is a unit of data stored on a digital ledger, called a blockchain, that certifies a digital asset to be unique and therefore not interchangeable. NFTs can be used to represent items such as photos, videos, audio, and other types of digital files.”

NFT is going to be exciting to see how these shapes the future of digital world and music production.  I will wait and see how the release of this track goes and if I have any updates, I will share here on the blog.

Also talking of vinyl records I have been tracking down some of Runes back catalogue tracks for my collection.

I managed to source a copy of

Artificial Funk ‎– Real Funk – white label as I see it was Runes first release and it a great track.

And from the same reseller a copy of

Rune ‎– Nothing New – Label Variation Recordings ‎– VAR 005R

Then I managed to track another white label copy of

Artificial Funk – People don’t know & Thinking of You – BBR 002

Finally, I found this on eBay not sure if it is real, but I have brought it as cheap and it a good track.

Nice bit of history if it is real and a cool find.

A copy of Rune RK and DATABOY – Memorize Me – White Label CD

Kölsch Spotify Update check it out here.

Still in lockdown but hopefully soon the world will be opening again.  Some exciting news for UK Kölsch is coming home to Fabric, London 20th August.  Yet to confirm if I can go 🙁 but hoping something might come up….  But Creamfields is still GO! – Keep safe everyone!

Below is some screenshots from the last LIVE stream on Instagram was yet another great set and helps fill the void of missing clubbing.

Finally, there some exciting news of a new live show on 31/05/21 for Cercle Music at Saint Hilarion castle, Cyprus.  It will be streaming live on Facebook, Twitch and Oculus!

I might try and setup the Oculus to see how it looks and sounds as this might add a new dimension to the experience, I will see how I get on.

Times on the picture below.

Also here is a link to the excellent Cercle set from Paris and the Eiffel Tower in case you missed it first time round.

Thanks for following more updates to follow please keep safe.
