Drumcode @ Drumsheds London, UK
So, the moon and stars aligned, and it worked out that the 9th March 2024 was able to happen and I was able to get to the Drumcode event at the Drumsheds in London, UK.
This time I was joined by my remarkable wife, who I would say is not the biggest Techno fan in the world (more a Kisstory fan) but was happy to join me for her first event and I believe she had a great time and was definitely blown away by how big, loud and crazy it all is. Also was rocking a 1977 Kölsch t-shirt of mine 😊 getting into the vibe of the day.
Had a good trip up and back from the venue, other than no trains running from Stratford so was a 2-way Uber but nothing major to stop us enjoying ourselves.
Once at the huge venue, which I believe is the old Ikea building at Tottenham we got in fairly quick for wristbands and though to security (a tad slow but friendly which is great) but that allowed us to speak to some great people in the queue sharing sweets before having to be binned 😊 then we are in.
We had a look around, grabbed some drinks, enjoyed the hustle and bustle and made our way out to watch some of Paul’s set. Then just before Kölsch’s set we headed backstage to catch up, my wife and I got to meet Rune, Juila and his friends (sorry I can’t remember anyone’s name – my bad) but they made my wife and I feel super welcome at the event, so super thank you for that, my wife said I need to say an extra thank you as well for allowing us to join such a super experience) we then made our way over to platform.
To enjoy the whole set and WOW what a show and to be able to see 1000’s of people all there dancing and loving the vibe, of what was epic music with tons of Track ID’s (collaborations) and classics such as Grey and to hear that live is just impressive. I did try and capture a few video clips of this tracks so I could try and remember the songs and share them.

I have clipped up all up and put together a sort of highlights video, we also took some photos to share of the experience however, I try not to have a phone out too much as I don’t know about most of you but I want to dance and that we did such good times. It was a very friendly crowd everywhere we went, with lots of nods and smiles.
After enjoying and epic set in which an hour and half vanished very quickly, we headed down to catch up and chatted about what might be happening in 2024, such a possible Fabric (all night long = fingers crossed) and maybe joining CamelPhat in Ibiza for 2024, we had a drink, photos and of course I asked for signing like I also do, for the man cave wall this time it was the poster inside the CD version of the amazing 5th Sudio album on Kompakt of I talk to water if you haven’t got this album yet, it’s 100% a must buy.
Also, Rune gave us special gift that I have now proud of place on my shelf and looks epic and defiantly a reminder of a remarkable day. Thank YOU!
I will look to get this picture framed as soon as possible and up on the wall.

So, this has got to be my clubbing highlight of all time now and wonder if it can ever be topped? I hope to get to another Kölsch live show this year that would be incredible. Fingers crossed and the moon and stars a line. If you ever get a chance to see Kölsch LIVE it is a 100 percent must do.
