So, it finally happened I managed to get to Creamfields 2021 after a 11 hour round trip there and back and was it worth it? Yes 1000% it was.<\/p>

So, this was my first Creamfields experience and wasn\u2019t 100% sure of what to expect but it beat all my expectations (well expect the nightmare getting in but that was a mere blip) in what was an amazing day.<\/p>

The trip up with my brother was good, other then a bit of traffic which be honest was to be expected but with the 10-hour set on the USB we was well under way.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Once there we had a walk around the venue and popped into different areas to get the experience of everything.\u00a0 Loaded up with water and headed to the \u201csteel yard\u201d in which Christoph was playing ready to see Kolsch.\u00a0 As I head to the front of the arena, I noticed Rune other by the artist entrance and with no luck asking security to call Rune over.\u00a0 A couple of next to me shouted over and with a stroke of luck Rune heard the couple and head over to our direction.<\/p>

Wow the legend was coming over!\u00a0 What a great guy he spoke to the couple first and then I asked could he sign my CD \u201c1977\u201d album and said yes!\u00a0 So, sharpie was ready (then to get the plastic off the CD or it can\u2019t be signed \u2013 Whoops). The Rune said \u201cwhat your name\u201d I said John and asked if I was from the website and said \u201cyes\u201d showed him my badge my daughtered had made for me to add to my bag.\u00a0 He then said thank you for a great said and my appreciated.\u00a0 Bonus and super chuffed he had seen the website and were happy about it and signed the CD \u201cTo John, Thank You, For Everything\u201d Rune!\u00a0 Of course, couldn\u2019t thank him enough.\u00a0 The CD and Cover I will be framing and placing on the wall of my studio next to the 1210\u2019s.\u00a0 I said I was around for the whole show of course showed I had my \u201chead in the clouds\u201d t-shirt on and ready to dance!\u00a0 Grabbed a selfie of course in which I look awful, but I have been dancing like a mad man to Christoph before so excuse the hair.\u00a0 So, what can I say I meet the legend that is Kolsch and a number 1 top guy!\u00a0 I mean the chances were slim in meeting a DJ in a location as big as Creamfields but super lucky and happy!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

If Rune is at Creamfields 2022 I might be cheeky and ask if he will sign my copy 1983.\u00a0 Talking of Creamfields 2022 there looking to also come to Chelmsford in the UK which is about 40 miles so less than an hour for me.\u00a0 Fingers cross another Kolsch visit.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

As for the set it\u2019s self I couldn\u2019t have started any better than what I think is the \u201ctrack of 2021!\u201d even if unreleased.\u00a0 The drum and acid sound are an instant classic 1000%.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Of course, there was tons of unrelease track IDs in the set which is amazing and so excited to see what is released for my collection.<\/p>

All in all, what an amazing day and can\u2019t wait for 2022.\u00a0 If I can\u2019t get to see Kolsch again in 2021.\u00a0 Now fingers cross I am hoping to make to Ibiza in October and there is a gap in Kolsch\u2019s tour dates for that weekend I am their fingers crossed maybe?<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
