New Music and Tomorrowland

So here is another update and I thought I would start with my thoughts on the amazing Tomorrowland 2021 Digital set by Kölsch who played the set LIVE.  It was quality from start to finish with a mixture of classic tracks that felt like they had the remix treatment and new track ID’s in which one is now my track of 2021!

So, the starting track was haunting sounds of “Moving Hands” from the excellent IPSO ISOPOLIS Album and this a great track to start the show.

About 4 mins in it moves to “Left eye Left” another classic Kölsch track which I wish I could get on vinyl :-p

Which flows into Kölsch ft. Troels Abrahamsen – All That Matters (Instrumental Mix) with some Acid tweaks on the top giving it the remix feel around the 9-minute mark.

Then dropping around 11 minutes into “The Great Consumer” becoming a classic tune in its own right.

14 minutes in we hit the first ID track! Which is a banger of a track much harder style of music now and definitely my preferred Kölsch style of music.  Hoping on a release date soon on this track.

Next is my favourite track from the “Now Here Now Where” album “Shoulder of Giants”.  What a track so happy when this was released.  Never get tired of listening to this.

Moving on to the classic of all classic tracks part 1 from 1977 album its “Goldfisch” No more to say!

Nearly halfway though and hit with another ID track love the sound of this track feels very trance style and I much approve of this track.  100% on this track!

Flipping into another 1977 powerhouse of a track “Opa” – Classic part 2

28 minutes strong brings us ID track number 3 and by the teaser in social media will be the next release on #ipso records.  Cannot wait to order this, it really is a foot stomping track that has that under tone of serious deep club bass. Exciting times for this release!

However, 34 minutes in the snare drums and 303 acid bass kicks in, with the sample the I recognise but cannot place my finger on where I heard it before? Never mind that WHAT A TUNE!

My tune of 2021 so far let alone the set! Amazing acid sounds and drums. Next level track! Hoping this will be played at Creamfields as need to hear this club level sound!  As have my neighbours having heard this track on repeat again and again.  Here to the drop!  Let us do this!

Followed by a classic Kölsch ending and the 3^rd classic 1977 track “Loreley” no more to say other then what an amazing set!  I hope Tomorrowland do keep with the digital festivals and Kölsch continues to play amazing sets there.
