New music collab Kolsch & Camel Phat – Waste my Time on IPSO

So, we have a new release on IPSO which is a collaboration between Kölsch and CamelPhat and not for the first time as they have done some great releases in the past.

However, having heard this track now a few times being played loud and live it is an outstanding collaboration of music master’s at work and a great track to add to the collection.

Also stay tuned as a Chris Avantgarde remix is also incoming!!

Finally, we have some news on the new album in which this is the first song from the new album,

Which I believe is called “Kimema”, and is still due for release in October, Also I believe it will have remixes of classic tracks including Goldfisch, All That Matters, Grey and Loreley.

And these tracks

I am led to believe the concept behind the album, takes its name from the Greek word for “movement”, and centres around transformation and artistic evolution.  I can’t wait for this release. Also, there is a hint of a LIVE show as well in bringing a new dimension to the evolution of Kölsch’s music, I wonder what this means for performances moving forward.

Classics

Talking of revisiting classics, I have been mainly listening back to the ISOPOLIS album again with the killer tracks: Isopolis & Atreyu

From all the way back in March 2021 this came out and has been great to re-listen to this love the mellow vibes some evenings.

Look back

Visit to London (Barking) for High Lights Presents IMMERSS

This was an excellent way to spend a Friday afternoon with my great friend Matt aka abbathehorse to experience another Kölsch set from the front with a great crowd of people who were there to dance and enjoy the great weather (considering the weather forecast was for yellow warning thunderstorms) we was super lucky with the weather.

The whole setup was quality, great sound system at both stages, good layout, great food trucks and drinks options can’t fault the venue or the security at all.

Kölsch’s set was outstanding as well, I felt it had a real section of bass heavy tracks, with a great mixture of songs and was probably in a way the most un-Kölsch set I have heard in a very long time but that is not a negative in anyway just a real different vibe and was great to hear and the crowd along with myself loved it.  Of course, there were classic tracks and the new remixes of classics plus a few remixes of other legendary songs, I remember the Chemical brothers remix going down very well.  As well as the Madonna remix.  Was great to hear Enviro and the new remix of Grey and the crazy, crazy remix of Loreley as well (hopefully this track will make it to the new album).

Here are some photos of the set

There were some excellent DJs on both stages which we got to hear as well with Gioli & Assia doing a hybrid set before with live vocals and drums and then at the end Elderbrook – Live and hearing Cola was outstanding as well and closed the night off so well “LONDON”!

Relive – Kolsch Recorded LIVE at Fabric 27/09/24

What a night to relive my first experience of Fabric and exceeded all expectations.  The whole set is now on Apple Music and the track listing is on Track Listing 1001

Here is what I had to say last time – Look Back , also to hear the remix of Shadow Boxing by Nasty Habits again was so good and still tons of Track IDs on there I wish I knew what that was.

So, there we have another little update for 2025 that is going so fast and over halfway through the year.  Crazy but as always keep safe and keep raving.
